Trip description

The trip begins in Dawson City with a van shuttle to the launch site at Rock Creek, 25km upstream on the Klondike River from Dawson City. The trip ends on the shore of Yukon River in Downtown Dawson City.  

Trip time

Total trip takes approximately 4 hours, but may be a bit longer or shorter depending on River level and water flows.

DESCRIPTION

The trip begins in Dawson City with a van shuttle to the launch site at Rock Creek, 25km upstream on the Klondike River from Dawson City. The trip ends on the shore of Yukon River in Downtown Dawson City.

This trip is approximately 7 hours total, 6 hour of which are spent on the river.

The Scenic Yukon River

DESCRIPTION

Forty Mile is a old gold mining town founded in 1886, is located at the confluence of the Forty Mile River and the Yukon River, 88 km downriver from Dawson City and 67 km upstream from the Alaska/Yukon border. Get ready to experience some amazing scenery: vertical high bluffs, canyons, and clear water tributaries.

Trip time

With pickup and return via the scenic Top of the Wold Highway it takes approximately 9-11 hours total. Approximately 7-8 hours of time spent on the Yukon River.

An experience like no other, the Stewart River is for those who enjoy the road less travelled. It’s quite possible you may not see a single soul while paddling this trip. Expect some epic Wildlife viewings and the opportunity to explore an abandoned farming community site.

Trip time

Departs Dawson, 1.75 hour shuttle to launch site at McQuesten Airstrip on Stewart River. Actual river time to Dawson City is approximately 30 (+/-) hours.
